Cool Change CoachingStarting 2008 off with a bang, Lisa and Rob Payne of Didsbury set up a website for their new venture, Cool Change Coaching. As personal development coaches, it was important that we present an online image that inspires confidence as well as confidentiality. A simple flash introduction helped to visually illustrate how social interactions can affect situations, whether personal or professional. Using Skype to contact their clients means you can even stay in the comfort of your own home while you get the coaching you want. A great little site for really great people. Don’t scale down an image just because you need a smaller version on the web. For example: Do not force scale a 200×200 px image to 50×50 px for your website by altering the width and height. Get a 50×50 px instead. This goes for everything: doc files, ppt files, and pdf files too.

What I'm Working On

More and more, business owners need virtual assistants to help them with writing news releases, bookings ads, and more.I met Carol at a Roy Prevost seminar on social media in June this year. We visited a bit at the workshop and subsequently struck up a friendship through e-mail and Facebook. Carol is starting a new business in Thorhild, Alberta, as a Virtual Assistant. She will be helping overworked business owners around the world, with their bookkeeping and other administrative duties, so they can concentrate on growing their businesses. The CEVA Services website should be ready later this spring.
