The Town of Olds is currently involved in a Municipal Sustainability Pilot Project. The Aquatic Center is conveniently located on the Olds College campus. It features five lanes, waterslide, and hot tub. Visit with our Town Crier and Bell Ringer, Denis and Judy Patry, during Olds Fashioned Christmas. Olds is a vibrant and thriving place with exciting business opportunities, including Industrial Parks. Welcome to Olds, National Winner in the 2005 Communities in Bloom competition.

Inspiring Change - Peer Support Services for Abused Women

Inspiring Change offers peer support services to the women of Mountain View County who are at risk for or who are currently experiencing abuse. Support groups, one on one support, referrals and resources including safety planning are offered. All services are confidential and barrier free. Volunteer opportunities are available as group facilitators and mentors to work with and help the women and children in our community live violence free lives. Training and ongoing support is provided. Workshops, presentations and information are available to community groups, agencies, businesses, faith communities and individuals to create a community response to family violence.

The Baron Tweedsmuir Chapter of the IODE's main source of income is the Thrift Shop located at 5114 50 Street.
