It is an agency that is, and always has been, driven by the individuals receiving services and their families. Residential, recreational and job development opportunities are tailored to the hopes, desires and dreams of each individual. Experience Authentic Alberta! Prairies to Peaks Tourism Association (P2P) is an umbrella organization, collaboratively promoting the region and its assets; providing tourism leadership, education, resources and opportunities. P2P brings private and public sectors together to build and maintain an effective tourism economy and introduce our "Authentic Alberta" to the world. Members are promoted year round via web, magazine and newspaper ads, journalistic articles and regional cross promotions. P2P assists with marketing grants, free training opportunities, advertising and market evaluation. Rates and benefits are member-driven. Are you expecting? The Olds Community Health Centre offers a set of two classes, five times a year that cover information from late pregnancy and the birth experience to caring for you and your newborn baby. Content includes: late pregnancy and the onset of labour, relaxation, progress of labour, coping strategies, comfort measures, labour support, complications and variations, medical options, caesarean birth, infant feeding, advantages and challenges of breastfeeding and getting started for success. Newborn behaviour and care, adapting to parenthood, car seats, and other safety concerns are also addressed.
